Be Prepared!

Be prepared!

The Marines are prepared.  The Boy Scouts are prepared.  Many large corporations are prepared.  My last job was to coordinate emergency preparedness and business continuity efforts and planning at a global organization.  We, too, need to be prepared as individuals and as families.  What for?

A great calamity is about to fall on this nation. I don’t pretend to know exactly when or what because no one can foretell the future.  But I can tell you with certainty that a great calamity will befall this nation soon. I can tell you with certainty that 9-11, the Boston Marathon Bombing, and the Ft. Hood shootings will pale in comparison to what we are about to experience.

I am not fear mongering.  I say this with such confidence because all the signs are pointing in the same direction:

Too Rich for Our Own Good

Counter-CutLaughter is good for the soul.  Our news would be hilarious if it weren’t so painfully true!

Incidents of social insanity have reached epidemic proportions to the point where it’s impossible to keep up with them.  They are literally consuming and destroying our society.  Some examples of our social insanity follow:

Our government is so flush with borrowed cash that it is even giving billions to a Mexican billionaire in the name of “helping the poor” while railing against the “unfairness” that the top 1% of American taxpayers only provide 30% of the nation’s tax revenues. Read more…

It’s called the Affordable Care Act, except it is neither affordable, nor does it provide improvements in health care. It’s even a tax that’s not a tax. Go figure!

Uncle Sam wants YOU – to receive a free handout. Never mind that our Federal government is spending hopelessly beyond its means. There are actually food-stamp recruiters whose primary function is to find and recruit more people to whom we can give money we don’t have!

The Gender Mess in Massachusetts

Massachusetts requires K-12 public schools to allow boys and girls to use the opposite sex’s locker rooms, bathrooms, and changing facilities as long as they claim to identify with that gender.  What were they thinking?

Is Scripture quoting sign that you’re nuts?

This is what happens when good becomes bad and bad becomes good. Hollywood predominantly displays Christian believers as insane.
But who is really the insane one?

Greenspan: Ignore The Economy, “Only The Stock Market Matters”

Unemployment apparently doesn’t matter.  Real inflation apparently doesn’t matter.  Our fiscal health apparently doesn’t matter.
Sounds like Greenspan has put the cart before the horse.
Does the stock market drive the economy, or is the stock market just a measure of the economy?

… and much more to come, for all is not as it looks!

Counter-CutBefore casting your vote on Tuesday, please consider the following:  The unemployment figures used as a barometer of economic health are unreliable.

Obama’s Layoff Bomb” cites a series of recent “mass layoff actions” directly related to Obama’s economic policies. You won’t hear about these in the mainstream news media. “Mass layoff actions” are the sign of a sick economy, not a healthy one. Read more…

ObamaCare

Counter-CutWhether or not a Presidential candidate will repeal ObamaCare is one of the key differentiators in this election.  There is much confusion on this matter; one side claims certain facts, the other claims other facts.  Is anyone speaking the truth?  How does one choose?

Actually, the answer is pretty simple:  “Where there is smoke, there must be fire.”  While it may not be scientifically provable beyond doubt, enough “smoke” exists to make one question the wisdom of embarking on yet another expensive government program of such grand proportions.

We are running trillion dollar annual deficits and our economy is in shambles; this is not the time to embark on a major financial adventure.  For this fact alone ObamaCare is the wrong legislation at the wrong time.

Add to that the fact that it was hurriedly signed into law before Americans were allowed to examine its contents, I’m more than suspicious of what’s in the package.  Are we getting a Christmas gift, or a Trick or Treat?

Let’s start with some humor.   (MUST SEE THIS SHORT VIDEO).

This is what else I learned after researching the matter a bit: Read more…

Taxmageddon?

Counter-CutFor a long time I’ve been hearing that we are facing the largest tax increase in our history on Jan. 1, 2013, which will bring about an economic disaster of major proportions.  An internet email is circulating details of these tax hikes.  Links are included to allow the reader to follow up, verify accuracy, and validate sources.

I’m publishing the email message in its entirety because our mainstream media refuses to address the issue.  Study it.  Verify it.  Then vote common sense.  But for our children’s sake, please don’t ignore it!

The Federal Deficit

September 13, 2012 1 comment

Claims abound this election season that the deficit and debt were inherited and not the responsibility of the current administration.  Is that correct?  Let us examine the following graph of annual Federal deficits from 1990 to today. Read more…
