America just converted from traditional, old fashioned analog to modern digital TV. It was a complicated process that required tremendous cooperation in all segments of society. Read more…
You may have received an internet email purporting to describe a logical basis for the way our numbers are written. It provides a compelling case demonstrating that our numerals are based on the number of angles in each numeral. Sometimes the information is provided in an impressive PowerPoint presentation.
Nevertheless the information is incorrect, no matter how compelling it may seem and how well it’s presented.
See some of the articles below, demonstrating the evolution of our current numbers over hundreds of years through many different cultures:
All is not as it looks!
The discovery of DNA revolutionized biology. There was a recent spate of articles talking about the significance of “junk” DNA. You might be interested in hearing about it.
According to some scientists only about 20% of our DNA contains meaningful genetic information; the rest is “junk.” We know “junk” DNA exists, but don’t exactly know why. Therefore many argue that the existence of this “junk” DNA proves the validity of random evolutionary theory. The argument goes something as follows: Read more…
Researching the climate change issue has been an interesting experience, not only from the scientific perspective but also from the spiritual perspective because it confronted me with a number of unanswered questions regarding some very fundamental issues. I’d like to share those issues with you, but will not attempt to answer them at this time. I may, however, come back to them at a later time. Read more…
Much has been said and written about global warming. When doubt was cast on the accuracy and validity of the global warming theory, it was renamed “climate change.” I must admit that anybody who believes there is no such thing as “climate change” is a fool. Clearly climate, or weather, is not the same year to year or age to age. But does that necessarily support the hypothesis that man-made activity is bad for the climate? I decided to examine the question a little more deeply. Read more…
This is just one of many charts depicting global cooling, instead of global warming. That’s why “climate change” is the new banner.
This one, on the other hand claims it’s getting warmer, and even concludes that the warming is man-made.
This one claims it’s getting cooler.
Here you’ll find a number of images supporting whatever your opinion.
This one actually correlates our “national debt to GDP ratio” and “global temperature changes”! So let’s eliminate the national debt and bring on the cooling.
What’s going on here? The next essay will examine the situation in more depth and attempt to discern the truth.

In 1972 NASA launched Pioneer 10, the first spacecraft to escape our solar system. The spacecraft was equipped with a variety of scientific instruments, communications, and a plaque installed at the behest of Carl Sagan, a popular scientist and strong believer in Darwinian (random) evolution. The purpose of the plaque is to communicate information about the origin of the spacecraft to any distant intelligent life-forms who might just happen to discover the spacecraft. Read more…
