Crowds

January 23, 2017 Leave a comment

There have been many instances of fake news in mainstream media of late.  Most of the time words are used to misrepresent reality, but pictures may also be used.

Recently the New York Times published an article comparing the sizes of the crowds attending Obama’s and Trump’s inaugurations.  The message of the Times article is that very few people supported Trump by attending the inauguration, and by inference Trump is an illegitimate president.

Be Prepared!

Be prepared!

The Marines are prepared.  The Boy Scouts are prepared.  Many large corporations are prepared.  My last job was to coordinate emergency preparedness and business continuity efforts and planning at a global organization.  We, too, need to be prepared as individuals and as families.  What for?

A great calamity is about to fall on this nation. I don’t pretend to know exactly when or what because no one can foretell the future.  But I can tell you with certainty that a great calamity will befall this nation soon. I can tell you with certainty that 9-11, the Boston Marathon Bombing, and the Ft. Hood shootings will pale in comparison to what we are about to experience.

I am not fear mongering.  I say this with such confidence because all the signs are pointing in the same direction:

Blood Moons

TIMG_3078 cropped2here has been a lot said and written about blood moons lately.[1] Some claim that the blood moons portend signs of the end times. Imagine for a moment playing the shell game against a master.  You put down your $20 bill.

He places three shells on the table, upside down.  He slides a bean under one shell.  You mentally mark the shell. You focus your eyes on it intently and wait. Read more…

Counter-CutAtheists are on a mission to eradicate any semblance of Christianity from America’s public forums and places. The mission is doomed to failure: It failed miserably in spite of nearly a century of Communist repression in Russia. But that doesn’t stop atheists from trying.

Two such recent attempts follow.
Which brings up the question, “When is not a religion a religion?”
The legal answer:  “When atheism looks like a religion, talks like a religion, and acts like a religion.”
Nevertheless one wonders if our government is intentionally implementing atheism as the official “state religion”…

What If?

After a series of heavy posts, one needs a smile and a break.  A post by Chris Skates made me smile, so I decided to share it with you.  The premise of the post so perfectly fits the tag line “All is not as it looks”, and is so apropos for today’s political climate where truth and fantasy are virtually indistinguishable that it begged to be shared.  Read more…

Hypocrites and Pharisees

Counter-CutScarcely a month has elapsed since the Gosnell verdict, but it’s already “old news.”  Our mainstream media and our nation in general have sighed a big sigh of relief and gone back to life and death as usual.   Even the scant mainstream media coverage afforded the trial at its height has disappeared into the distant past like an unpleasant scolding.  But life and death continue unabated in America’s abortion clinics (abortuaries).

Then last Thursday John McCormack of The Weekly Standard magazine asked House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (a vociferous supporter of abortion) to explain the moral difference between Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s murder of infants born alive and legalized late-term abortion.   Read more…
