1% Rules the 99%
Incidents of social insanity have reached epidemic proportions to the point where it’s impossible to keep up with them. They are literally consuming and destroying our society. Some examples of our social insanity follow:
- There are approximately 100,000,000 married couples in the United States.
- There are 76,000 married homosexual couples, representing only 0.076% of the total population.
- There are a grand total of 646,000 homosexual couples – married and unmarried – representing only 0.65% of the total married population.
- Approximately 7% of same-sex couple households who live in states permitting homosexual marriage have actually taken the opportunity to marry.
Even if homosexual marriage were legalized in all states, they would represent only 0.0425% of the total married population. To put it another way, 99.955% of the married couples would remain heterosexual!
Since when does 0.0425% of the population dictate to the other 99.955% in this country? What’s the big deal?
But when an 11 year old girl audaciously asked the Minnesota legislature considering approval of homosexual marriage, “Which parent do I not need – Mom or Dad?” they had no answer. See links below:
War on marriage is a war on reality waged by a tiny, noisy minority.
When social insanity rules, lawmakers cannot differentiate between reality and delusion; therefore all laws are possible and nothing is impossible.
All is not as it looks!
