Iranian Nukes?

Counter-CutWe routinely hear news about Iran’s “peaceful” nuclear program.  Some say that the sanctions are working and one day Iran will stop its nuclear ambitions.  Those people may be deluding themselves, because now even the U.N.’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) – the very organization charged with enforcing Iran’s “peaceful” nuclear program – is crying foul.

Specifically, the IAEA is claiming that satellite images indicate that Iran is now working hard to “clean up” all evidence of testing specifically related to the manufacture of a nuclear bomb.  Not only that, but Iran has covered the work area so satellites cannot view the activity.  Furthermore, Iran has been delaying IAEA access to the site until the clean-up project is complete, at which time all evidence will have been destroyed.  All the while Iran is calling for the total destruction of Israel and the United States.

Reminiscent of Rome, as Nero fiddled while the city burned.
Reminiscent of the West, playing word-games as Hitler fired up his gas chambers for the Jews
While we turned a blind eye.
When will we ever learn?  When will we ever learn?

Someday soon we will be “surprised” once again – by a mushroom cloud over Israel and ask,
“How could that happen?”
One must see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil in the temple of Political Correctness…
