He places three shells on the table, upside down.  He slides a bean under one shell.  You mentally mark the shell. You focus your eyes on it intently and wait.

The Bumper Sticker

I saw this bumper sticker on a car yesterday. Obviously someone had carefully removed “God” from the message, but left the desired blessing in place.
“How appropriate!” I thought, “What a perfect symbol for what this country is doing.”

Then a question popped into my mind, “Who is going to give the blessing, if not God?”

Do You Know Obama?

Four years ago we elected a President.  Not much was known about him, but that didn’t matter.  Hope and change alone mattered.

Now that President is up for reelection, and the mainstream news media still has not provided much additional information about him.  Will we once again vote for a man we don’t know or understand?
